NOTICE OF FINAL HEARING
PETITION FOR IMPROVEMENT
JUDICIAL DITCH NO. 8
The Murray County Board of Commissioners, acting as the Drainage Authority for Judicial Ditch No. 8, finds as follows: that a Petition for the Improvement of Judicial Ditch No. 8 is pending; that the Engineer’s Detailed Survey Report has been filed; that the Viewers’ Report has been filed.
After consultation with the Murray County Auditor/Treasurer, the Murray County Board of Commissioners establishes: Thursday November 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., in the Commissioners Room of the Murray County Government Center, Slayton, MN as the time and place for the Final Hearing on the Improvement of Judicial Ditch No. 8. Also to be considered is a Viewers’ Report for a Redetermination of Benefits.
Judicial Ditch No. 8 provides drainage to portions of Sections 1, 2, 11 and 12 of Cameron Township in Murray County. The proposed improvement will consist of an entirely new tile Main, ranging in size from 8” to 30”, from the outlet into an unnamed stream near the center of Section 11 to the upper end in the NW ¼ of Section 1. The new tile will replace the existing tile and is intended to improve the function of the existing tile system.
A map of the proposed Improvement of Judicial Ditch No. 8, which lies over parts of Cameron Townships, all in Murray County, follows; along with the names of land owners in each section and each political subdivision that may be affected.
