The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach was read to 122 people in Fulda on Thursday, October 27th, as part of Jumpstart’s Read for the Record® Campaign for 2016.
Jumpstart’s Read for the Record® is a national campaign that launched just over a decade ago to address the educational inequities that leave too many children unprepared for kindergarten.
On Thursday morning, Fulda Memorial Library employee, Dwayna Paplow, visited pre-school classrooms and daycares as well as reading the story to young learners at the library. During the morning sessions, 45 people listened to The Bear Ate Your Sandwich.
