St. Gabriel’s Youth attend Middle School Youth Festival

Youth Festival

Several youth from St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church attended the 26th annual Middle School (Grades 6, 7, and 8) Youth Festival held on October 30, 2016, at Adrian Elementary School, Adrian, MN. Their mission that day was to pack Birthing Bags for mid-wives in Haiti to use at home births. The packs included  items  to help provide a sanitary birth, as well as receiving blankets, onesies, and baby hats. During the Middle School Youth Festival, 100 Birthing Bags were made. All items were collected and donated by the various Catholic parishes in southwest Minnesota.  Pictured above, L to R, are: Noah and Tony Perez, Megan Bakke and Emily Madison.
