When Fulda seniors begin applying for scholarships during the upcoming months, those who are entering careers in agriculture or agronomy will have the opportunity to apply for a $1,000 Ron Redenius Memorial Scholarship, thanks to United States Army veteran, Bob Fuller, Strasburg, Ohio.
Fuller was in Fulda on Friday to attend the 2016 Veterans Day Program and to announce that he has established the Ron Redenius Memorial Scholarship.
Redenius and Fuller were both soldiers in the 128th Aviation Company during the Vietnam War. “Ron graduated from flight school one month before I did. When you were signed up for flight school, you knew you were going to have a Vietnam assignment. In Vietnam, Ron was in the room next to where I was. We became best friends,” Fuller explained.
