Saturday will kick off the Christmas shopping season in Fulda with the Holiday Craft Bazaar, and Sarah Pack, Fulda, has signed up as one of the many vendors that will be available that day.

“I will be offering several items of wood working, string art and wood burning,” Pack shared. “A lot of my ideas come from the internet site Pinterest. Plus I come up with ideas of my own.”

Pack started doing wood working about two years ago. “It was a way for me to decorate the house. I started with one item at a time, finding things that I liked on Pinterest and then making them to suit our decor,” she said. The first item she made was a wooden multi-shelf shelving unit. It is made from a wood pallet. With the shelf being such a success, she decided to try her hand at a blanket rack. “That’s not made from a pallet, but it is stained to match the shelf,” Pack said.

When asked about her creative talents and where they originated from, Pack replied, “My dad is a carpenter. Mom liked to do craft things as well. For me, it is my own hobby and it’s my me-time. I really enjoy making the home decorating items.”
