Arnold Rindfleisch passed away on November 17, 2016 at the VA hospital in Sioux Falls.  Arnie was born on July 28, 1937 to Ferdinand (Toby) and Blanch Rindfleisch in Heron Lake.   He graduated from Heron Lake High School in 1956.  After graduation he enlisted in the Marines and was on active duty for 2 years and then the reserves until June 14, 1962.  On November 6, 1958, he was united in marriage to Betty Small at Our Redeemer Lutheran church in Okabena.  They made their home at Sioux Valley until they moved to Heron Lake in 1964.  Arnie worked at Toro, Worthington Rendering, and then PM Beef, where he retired in 2007.

Arnold is survived by his wife, Betty, Son, Randy, (Shar) Rindfleisch, Heron Lake, grandchildren, Dustin, (Heather) Rindfleisch, Heron Lake, Sierra Rindfleisch, Erik and Justin Jass, Dundee.  One brother, Luverne, (Gloria) Rindfleisch, Redwood Falls, 2 sisters, Carol Janssen and Norma (Dennis) Rosin, Windom, and 2 sister-in-laws, Lorraine and Aggie Rindfleisch, Minneapolis.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Mavis, and 4 brothers, Roland, Ray, Kenny, and Lenny.

There will be a short service with military honors at the Kinbrae Steak House, Kinbrae, MN on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm, along with a Celebration of Life from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
