St. Paul’s Lutheran School held their annual Christmas program on Wednesday evening, December 14th. Entitled “The Real Story of ‘The Night Before Christmas’”.
The play included songs The Night Before Christmas, Just Imagine, Could This Be the Night He Will Come?, While Shepherds Watch Their Flocks By Night, and Go, Tell it on the Mountain.
The students story told of what really happened on the night that Jesus Christ was born, according to Luke Chapter 2.
Preschool students sang verse one of Away in a Manger with all school students joining them on verse two. All children and the congregation sang verse three together.
Hark the Herald Angels Sing was also sung by the students and the congregation.
Congregational hymns included O Come, All Ye Faithful and Joy to the World.
Students in 3rd through 5th grade presented special music, playing O Christmas Tree with hand chimes.
