Wednes
day, June 1, 2016 found the boys in Marshal for Section 3A finals.
Justin Dierks and Cory Renneke each had an excellent day. Justin finished 1 stroke out of state tournament play with a two day total of 181 while Cory shot a 184 finishing 4 strokes out.
Topping the chart for the two day event was MCCs Tyler Groves who shot a 166.
Dierks completed day 2 with an 89. Renneke with a 90.
Joe Fischer also had a nice day on the course ending with a 93 for a combined total of 190.
Jason VanDyke stayed consistent scoring 98 both days for a 196.
Brandon Everett ended the day with a 99 just one stroke higher than his first round to total a 197.
And Tyler Madison shot a 109 for a total of 207.
Fulda boys, as a team came in 3rd overall in the Section 3A Golf tournament being edged out of second by just 2 points by Westbrook-Walnut Grove. The Murray County Central team, who shot a 704 went home with the Section Championship.
