The Fulda boys traveled to Adrian on January 31st to do battle with the Dragons.
Adrian coming off a 77-85 loss to Mountain Lake Area were looking to notch a W for their win column. Fulda had just lost to St. James on Friday night and was forced to do a quick turn around as they faced Adrian on Monday night. Adrian came back in the second half of play to outscore the visiting Raiders 34-20 and claim the 69-54 victory.
Matthias Kunerth earned the first two points of the contest as he notched both free throw attempts. A Fulda turnover gave the Dragons an opportunity knot the game at 2-2 with a shot by Zachary Hendel. Adrian’s Ryan Wieneke gave the Dragons the go-ahead points. Hendel was able to score on back-to-back opportunities giving Adrian the 7-2 edge early in the contest.
