Tuesday night the Fulda Raiders took on the Hendricks Grizzlies in a non-conference basketball game. The Raiders started off strong taking an 11-2 lead early in the game but Hendricks settled in and quickly cut into that lead. The first half was a back forth game and the Raiders went into the locker room with a 28 – 25 lead. The second half was a similar story to the first half. The teams went back and forth scoring keeping it within five points the entire way. The Raiders outscored the Grizzlies 30 – 29 in the second half and went on to win 58 – 54. The Raiders were led by Randi Tiesler with 15 points, followed by Evany Luna and Courtney Zins (10 rebounds) with 13 and 10, respectively. For the Grizzlies, Sophie Johnson scored a game high 31 points. Greta and Kaylee Johnson both finished with 11 points each.
Friday night the Raiders traveled to Lamberton to take on the Falcons of RRC. For the first five minutes of the game it looked as if the Raiders were going to put up a fight, but that quickly changed.
