Minneota’s Thomas Hennen led the way for the Vikings on Tuesday night as the Raiders came to town. Henning notched 22 points in the game including six field goals, two three and eight from the line. Minneota used a strong first half to build a 41-18 advantage by mid-break and 39-30 in the second half to notch the 80-48 victory.
Viking Logan Sussner kicked off the game hitting his six straight points while Hennen connected on a field to give Minneota the 8-2 edge. Fulda’s first eight points came via senior Ben White and the Raiders had managed to creep to just a two point deficit, 8-10.
Scores from Hennen (Minneota) and Dierks (Fulda) kept the game tight. After a charity shot and field goal, Minneota was back out front 15-10. Justin Dierks found Slinger working his way across the lane to connect for two points, 12-15.
