Deuschle is Belgian Draft Horse Youth Ambassador

Reprinted with permission from the 2016 Belgian Review

This past summer Belgian Youth Ambassador Applications were sent out in the annual Belgian newsletter. Five of the applicants were chosen for this year’s program. The five youth traveled to Wabash, IN in August. They spent time learning about the Corporation and Alliance Programs. They also had some training in social media conduct and how to manage the Belgian Corp Booth at sales and shows. They toured the office and had a chance to work with the staff on learning how paperwork is processed. We were thankful for the opportunity to tour Produce Acres, AgRestore Farms, Shipshewana Harness and Trailer, and Royal Equine Acres. Gary and Loretta Miller provided the ambassadors with lunch and let them tour their farm. Since then the ambassadors have helped manage the booth, assisted at the NABC and Annual meeting and written articles for the Belgian Review.
