Mrs. Earl Storm attended the General Mission Interpretation Training and Planning Conference of the Presbyterian Synod of Minnesota at Westminster Heights on February 22 and 23.

Members of the Penguin Snowmobile Club travled from Worthington to Sioux Falls on Saturday and Sunday. Many of the 25 snowmobiles had family members riding behind on sleds.

Mrs. Sandra Berglund, 22, passed away after a lengthy illness on Februry 21st.

Valerie Schwarz and Daryl Calumet were married January 1, 1967 in Minneapolis.

Patricia Fury and Cpl. D. R. Menk announce engagement. An October wedding is planned.

The Fulda High School Math team traveled to Adrian on Monday and brought home the travelling trophy. Scott Bunkers came in first followed by Luke Odenbrett, John Leinen and Lynn Magnus.

  Elementary school boys and girls who are members of the School Patrol watch over the students as they cross the streets safely.

Jeff Czepa and John Trierweiler engage in mouth to mouth combat during the National FFA Week celebration at the Fulda High School.

The Fulda Fire Department responded to the Todd Kremer farm where they extinguished a fire thought to have been started by a motorists tossed cigarette.

Tim Ramerth and Jeff Czepa won their weight classes in the District Eight Tournament held at Slatyon.

Celebrating birthdays at Maple Lawn Nursing Home are Florence Isder, Lorean Nielsen, Gertie Gehl and Mildred Arens.

Citizens of Tomorrow include Kyle Reese, Alisa Schweigert, and Leann Prahm.

District II Competition Gold Medal Winners for FHA were Heather Gielen, Stacey Sturm, Teresa Brockway, Alanna Moger, Dana Dierksen, Teresa Kass, Andrea Odenbret, Rachel Friese, Ranell Beerman, Anne Bunkers and Michelle Stephen.

The John Kremer family, Judy, Laura and Chad, accepted the Bell Ringer award at the Minnesota Pork Producer banquet in John’s honor. John, who lost his life in a farming accident this year, was remembered for his work as director as well building the pork stand and grilling throughout the years at the fairs.

St. Paul’s Lutheran pre-kindergarten students toured the dentist office this week.

The City of Fulda will get a FEMA grant for $10,722 to offset the expense associated with snow removal and tree damage caused by the winter storms.

Father Ozbun had the opportunity to travel to Australia and New Zealand ‘on holiday’ recently.

Danelle Engstrom and Kelly Jans announce engagement. A July wedding is planned.

Lisa Heintz and Brian Kube announce their engagement. A March wedding is planned.

Conrad and Dr. Ellen Norby are proud to announce the birth of their son, Adam, born December 11th. Grandparents include Marvin and Maxine Heinrichs, Marlene Norby and Kenneth Norby.

Lowell and Barbara Heintz are the parents of a boy, Joshua born February 18. Grandparents include Everett and Marjorie Jurgemeyer and Alvin and Arlene Heintz.

Eric and Cheryl Hartman are the parents of a daughter, Caitlin born February 22. Grandparents are Howard and Janice Kass and Sandy Hartman.

Amelia Bucher, 93, passed away on February 19th.

Ervin Hanson passed away February 20th at the age of 80 years old.

Kathy Fuchs and Tom Vroman were married on January 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
