Students at St. Paul’s Lutheran School had a lot of fun celebrating February, I Love to Read Month and learning more about Dr. Seuss

On Thursday, March 2nd, students dressed up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character in honor of the author’s 113th birthday. During the week, guest readers came  to the school  to read Dr. Seuss books to the students and staff. Guest readers included Fulda Mayor John Maertens, Fulda Fire Chief David Baumhoefner, St. Paul’s Lutheran School Administrator Sherri Boehnke, Bert Kolander, who attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School as a young lad, and Norma Dittman, writer for the Fulda Free Press.

To the right: Bert Kolander read Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham, much to the delight of the students!
