The Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, March 21.
The bid opening date for the Judicial Ditch #8 project was set for April 11 and the bid will be awarded on April 18 at 9:00 a.m.
The 2017 3.2 beer and Rolling Hills Golf Club Liquor license renewals were approved. The following organizations were approved contingent on all paperwork on file in the Auditor-Treasurer’s office: 3.2 Liquor “On and off sale: Rolling Hills Golf Club, Inc., Carlson Corner, Michael Ruppert d/b/a/ Ruppert Oil Company, Peter Bloemendaal d/b/a Pete’s Corner, Chandler Cooperative d/b/a Cenex Convenience Store, Breezy Point Tavern, LLC d/b/a Breezy Point Tavern and Roger Hamann d/b/a Trails Edge General Store also Liquor “On Sale: and Sunday: On Sale: License to Rolling Hills Golf club, Inc.
A public hearing will be held on April 4 for County Ditch #43 A B and M and County Ditch #40
Howard Konkol, ditch inspector, presented two petitions for repair – County Ditch #53, Skandia Township, Section 34 and County Ditch 11, Leeds Township, Section 11. Both were approved. He continued to report a minor repair to the dam at Summit Lake. That will be taken care of.
