School Board accepts resignations, and approves joint powers agreement for FACS teacher

Fulda District 505 School Board met for their regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday evening in the Fulda High School Library.

As part of the Consent Agenda, the board approved the resignations of Lori Crowley, agriculture educator, and English teacher, Tyler Morgan.   

  Special Education Teacher, Machelle Nolt, notified the School Board that the Extended School Year schedule will be June 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, July 12th, 19th, 26th, and August 9th, 16th, and 23rd, 7:30 a.m. to noon.

A joint powers agreement between Murray County Central and the Fulda District was approved. The agreement enables Fulda Schools to pay MCC for services that will be provided by Janet Opdahl, who will be the Family and Consumer Science teacher for the 2017-2018 school year.

A contract with Musser Environmental Consulting, Inc. was approved. The company has been hired to provide services necessary for the satisfaction of state and federal OSHA, EPA/MPCA, and Minnesota Department of Education guidelines for Fulda Public Schools.

A substitute teacher contract with Michael Pagel was approved. He will provide instruction at the high school as a substitute teacher from April 3 to May 1, 2017.
