Thursday afternoon, the Raider boys continued their winning ways by beating MCC and HBC in a triangular in Slayton on a very brisk and windy day. While the scores for the boys weren’t the best they have shot all year, they were still able to come away victorious shooting a 201 on the day. MCC finished 2nd with a 219 followed by HBC with a 229.
Cory Renneke was low golfer for Fulda coming in with a 48 on his scorecard.
Payton Marquardt was next with a 50, followed by Joe Fischer with a 51.
Justin Dierks, Jason Van Dyke, and Brandon Everett rounded out the scoring with a 52 each.
Tyler Groves from MCC was medalist with a 41 on the day followed closely behind by Jack Pierson with a 42.
Friday the boys headed to Windom, and got back to their good shooting, clubbing a round of 176 at the Windom golf course and beating the Eagles by 10 strokes.
Cory Renneke was again low scorer shooting a medalist round of 40 on the day by having 3 pars and a birdie to his name.
Justin Dierks followed closely behind firing a 41 on his round which consisted of 5 pars.
Tyler Madison had a birdie and 2 pars en route to a 46.
Joe Fischer and Brandon Everett rounded out the scoring with 49’s each.
Payton Marquardt shot a 52 to finish out the varsity shooters.
Jason Van Dyke shot a 48 on JV to lead the JV squad in a win over Windom as well.
The JV shot a 212 on the day with Aron Hulstein 52, Kade Clarke 55, Ethan Slaathaug 57 scoring for the JV.
The Raider boys with their 3-0 week improve their season record in duals to 9-1 and will head to Westbrook on Tuesday to take on WWG and RRC in a triangular.
