Mrs. Ted Dalin was laid to rest on Wednesday. Mrs. (Eva May Berry) Dalin’s death occurred late Sunday evening, April 30th, at her home. Mrs. Dalin was 53 years old.
Four applications for positions on the Fulda Board of Education were received by the Clerk; J.B. Miranowski, incumbent; Donald Stewart; Thomas Webb; and Orrin Clarke.

The Fulda FFA Chapter received many awards at their most successful State Convention to date.

Maple Lawn Nursing Home recognized their volunteers last Wednesday afternoon including Dorothy Balfanz and Ethel Lawson who showed up in their clown suits.

Joe Cavanaugh will lead an all day Respect Retreat for ninth graders from Murray County Central and Fulda on May 5th at St. Gabriel’s Church.
St. Paul’s school students hold Spring dinner theatre for friends and relatives performing “The 50th Annual Polk County Picnic” and “Man Overboard”.
The Fulda Elementary School 6th grader team of Dan Hup, Corey Brinkman, Bryce Engen, Stephanie Sandhurst, and Nick Klein took first place at the spelling bee held in Slayton last Saturday.
Brother and sister open photography studio – Larry Van Grootheest and Michele Kruse purchased the former B & H Electric building in Slayton where they will open “Portraits by Michele” this Monday.
Funeral services for Nellie Jones were held in Hollywood Hills, California. Nellie, who owned in operated beauty shops in the area, passed away at the age of 90 years old.
Barry and Kerry Sauer are the parents of a girl, Morgan, born April 22nd. Grandparents are Bill and Joan Sauer and Keith and Margaret Schroeder.
Fred and Leona Enninga to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
