The Fulda girls golfers took to the links on Wednesday in Worthington and came away with some hardware of their own, finishing in 2nd place in the Red Rock Conference. They were narrowly defeated by MCC who won the conference with a score of 421. Fulda’s 429 was 10 better than 3rd place finishers WWG and Adrian who both shot a 439 to tie for 3rd place.
Lynneigh Vrooman shot an outstanding front nine score of 43 en route to her overall score of 98 which was good enough for 3rd place overall in the conference. Right behind Lynneigh was teammate Emily Schroer who shot a 99 on her day to finish 4th place overall. Both of these girls were rewarded with their nice days by earning All-Conference honors. Taylor Warborg came in next for the Fulda girls with a score of 112 and Amber Breuker rounded out our 429 team score with a round of 120. It was great to see the girls earn 2nd place and give them a trophy that they can remember for years to come.
