Fulda Elementary School fourth grade students presented their State Displays on Wednesday, May 17th. Viewing the displays were students from the other grades as well as family and friends.
For this project, teacher Leah Baumann asked the students to research their chosen state and find out information about symbols, mottos, flowers, birds, and more. They also were to find out about the state’s government and resources, including foods raised within the state.
Some of the students wrote letters to the various state offices and were delighted to receive letters in return.
