Military services at all four cemeteries will take place prior to the parade. Fulda’s Memorial Day 2017 will be observed on Monday, May 29th. Military services will commence at 7:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran then Seward. St. Gabriel’s will be observed at 8:00 a.m. with Prairie Hill at around 8:30 a.m.

Parade line-up will be at 8:45 a.m. at the Fulda Elementary School with the parade beginning at 9:00 a.m. The line-up starts with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9017, American Legion Post 318, and Ladies Auxiliaries Color Guard. They will be followed by the Fulda High School Band, students, families and friends.

The parade proceeds to the Fulda Lake for services, up main street and back to the high school for the Memorial Day Program, which is scheduled for approximately 10:00 a.m. All veterans, military personnel, auxiliary members, students, families, and friends are encouraged to attend and participate in the activities and program.

Musical selections and reading by students and area citizens are also a part of the Memorial Day Program. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held at the high school at 10:00 a.m.

There will be a Fulda FCCLA sponsored luncheon immediately following the Memorial Day  Program at the Fulda High School Cafeteria on May 29th until 12:00.
