Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, June 6. Warrants and Ditch bills were approved for payment.
Howard Konkol, ditch inspector presented several ditches for repair. County Ditch #27 Mason Township Sections 25 and 26, Judicial Ditch #22 Holly Township Section 24, CD # 29 Shetek Township section 26 and CD #65 Dovray Township Sections 4,5, and 6.
Sara Soderholm was introduced as the recent hire for Water Resources and is located in the Environmental Office.
Grant Prins was granted a conditional use permit for an expansion of a hog feed lot in Fenton Township. Five special conditions were added to the permit. The present permit is registered for 3,200 head swine, 100 heat calves and 4 horses. The new CUP will eliminate the calves and add a 1,800 head finisher for a total of 5,000 head swine.
