Members of the Fulda Area Lake Preservation Corporation worked on Monday to install a catch basin at the end of Baltimore Avenue by the lake in an attempt to stop the gravel from Davis Street from washing into the lake.

The Fulda FFA Chapter is planning a softball tournament for July 18th.

Dundee “Nothing Days” scheduled for July 24-26.

Cindy Witzel and Jodie Getting announce their engagement. An August wedding is planned.

Tim and Starla Lewis are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Latosha born July 3rd. Grandparents are Ed and Shirley Lewis and Gerald and Arlene Limmer.

John C. Cosgriff passed away on July 8th at the age of 95 years old.

Charles Meter passed away on June 25th at his home in Oregon at the age of 68 years old.

Don Schwab, Dell Goedtke and Jerry Ehleringer attended the Fulda City Council meeting to discuss water problems within the city.

Former Fulda resident, Mary (Heger) Sejnoha, had the opportunity to meet PGA star Tiger Woods at Cog Hill Country Club in Lemont, Illinois.

A one car roll-over type accident took the life of Michael Biegler in the early hours of July 5th near Iona.

Four local 4-H members recently traveled to Washington D.C. to the Citizen Washington Focus and participate in mock trials and a legislation convention. Those making the trip were Megan Enninga, Philip Clarke, Daniel Vortherms and Travis Reith.

Birdhouses were made last Tuesday as part of an Environmental Day Camp at the Fulda City Park.

The Fulda Depot was been recently beautified through the efforts of Rich Gilberston, Evelyn Behr, and Carolyn Behr who constructed, painted and planted new window boxes.

Lisa Heintz and Brian Kube were united in marriage on March 22nd at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Fulda.

Kim Evans and Mike Clayton were married on February 8th at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall.

Toni Kamm and Raymond Winter were married May 24 at the Nativity Catholic Church, Dubuque, Iowa.
