A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
June 27, 2017, 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Magnus, Kluis, Jens, Gunnink and Thiner. Also present Aurora Heard and Travis Smith.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 1.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 2.
MSP to approve ditch contractor bill for County Ditch No. 46 totaling $257.10.
MSP to approve Pay Application No. 1 (Final) to Ankrum Cabinets and Construction for the Fairground Roof Projects in the amount $19,661.75.
MSP to authorize an expenditure of $1,976.50 to Hample’s Floor Covering to replace the carpet in the Environmental Services Office.
MSP to approve purchasing the replacement desk for the Environmental Services offices from Office One Solutions in the amount of $1,374.55.
MSP to approve setting budget meetings for August 9th, 10th and 11th starting at 8:30 a.m.
MSP RESOLUTION 2017-06-27-01, Resolution Approving Results of 2014-2015 IRS payroll Examination and Authorizing Payment of Taxes
MSP to approve hiring an outside vendor to assist with making the calculations and filing the forms regarding the IRS audit on behalf of Murray County, the Murray County Medical Center will complete their own forms.
MSP to approve ditch inspection report for County Ditch No. 82 and Judicial Ditch No. 20A.
MSP to approve the internal recruitment for the Deputy Auditor Elections/Property/Ditches position.
MSP to approve the county pay to have the two trees removed from the middle of the Veteran’s Memorial with Legion members grinding the stumps and for the Legion members to return with details on the stones.
Open Forum/Public Comment – No members of the public were present.
MSP to approve accepting the Courthouse Security Grant with the county providing matching dollars.
MSP to approve purchasing the compressor type system for aeration for Bloody Lake and Shetek Lake totaling for $26,518.67.
MSP to approve the Chairman sign a certificate of a U.S. flag that was flown over the Murray County Courthouse in memory of John Engbarth and to give the flag to the Engbarth family.
