St. Paul’s Lutheran Church holds Praise in the Park held Sunday, July 30

Praise in the Park worship services put on by St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Fulda was held on Sunday in Fulda City Park.

Along with the Worship Service, a Vintage Vehicle and Tractor Show  was held on the playground of St. Paul’s Lutheran School. There were 19 entries in the vintage vehicle and tractor show. Each participant received a gift certificate to The Hub in Slayton for sharing their treasures with others.  There were several Farmalls, John Deeres, IHs, as well as two Ford Ranchers, a 1978 Ford F150 highboy, a Model T and a Pontiac Trans-Am.

Following worship, a picnic lunch was served. Pastor Shawn Ethridge stated that 170 folks attended the worship service and around 200 people enjoyed the meal of grilled pork burgers, steamed sweet corn, watermelon, baked beans, potato chips, ice cream, cookies and punch.
