The Murray County Central / Fulda Cross Country team loaded the bus early Monday morning and headed to Mountain Lake for the Mountain Lake invitational. Many Rebel runners ran outstanding races. First off were the junior high races. The Rebels had 4 junior high girls and 6 junior high boys participating. Megan Bakke placed 7th in the girls junior high race with a time of 8:03. Next in for the junior high girls was Chelby Kesteloot in 24th place. Following Chelby was Karissa Hurd with a time of 9:19, and wrapping things up for the girls junior high was Megan Peterson. The boys junior high also had many great performances. The first runner in for the junior high boys was 8th grader, Rylan Engelkes. Rylan came in 11th place overall and clocked a time of 7:25. The next two junior high boys to cross the finish line were Abel Piper and Simon Spittle. Both boys placed in the top 20. Adrian Swaller, Ryan Risacher, and Wyatt Biren also participated in the junior high race.
