Last Thursday, August 7th the MCC/Fulda cross country team travelled to Tracy to compete in the TMB Invitational. A total of 35 Rebel runners competed in five different races. The meet started off with the junior high girls race. The rebels had three top ten finishes in the JH girls 2000 meter run.
Megan Bakke came in fourth place with a time of 8:37. Ashley Overgaauw took seventh place, and not far behind was Amanda Overgaauw in ninth. Other junior high girl competitors included Alyssa Boerboom with a time of 9:30, and Chelby Kesteloot with a time of 9:31. The junior high girls had big success as a team, winning first place overall with only 29 points.
