Fulda volleyball squad falls short in home game comeback with Westbrook-Walnut Grove

After falling behind 2-0 in a Red Rock Conference match, the Raiders battled back to force a game five against the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers Thursday night in Fulda. Going into game five it looked like the Raiders had all the momentum but they did not have enough gas in the tank to complete the comeback losing the match-deciding game 15-7. The scores to the first four sets were 24-26, 23-25, 25-21, and 25-19. Camryn Baumhoefner led the Raiders with 11 kills and eight digs. Emily Schroer contributed 27 set assists and six digs and Evany Luna added seven kills. Grace Woelber led the Chargers with 38 set assists and Brittany Erickson contributed 12 kills. Fulda plays two non-conference matches this week when they travel to Pipestone Monday night and host Springfield Tuesday.
