In memory of their father, members of the Tom “TK” Clark family presented memorial money to the Dundee Legion Post.

TK was an active member of the Joseph Suding Post #386 American Legion in Dundee, with over 60 years of membership. He served his country during World War II.

Born on January 10, 1920, in Fegus Falls, Minnesota, TK passed away on June 5, 2006, in Dundee. He lived and farmed in the Fulda area with his wife, Mary Balster, until retiring in 1992. The couple married on April 14, 1944, in Durham, North Carolina.

TK received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army after his service in World War II. He joined the Dundee Legion and was an active member of the Post until his death. He enjoyed farming, visiting with friends, visiting at the local nursing homes, reading and doing mechanical work.

TK and Mary were the parents of five children, Bill, Cindy Bonczek, Carol, Barb Elsing and Steve. Four of the five were able to attend the Dundee Legion September meeting when the flag poles were dedicated.

“His family wanted to donate to the Legion and have something in memory of their dad,” explained Bill Brunk, one of the Dundee Legion members.
