Members from the Graham Lake Braves 4-H Club met with Fulda Elementary School kids this week to honor National 4-H Week (October 1-7, 2017) and to share with the kids their experience with 4-H and answer any questions.
These Seniors come from the Graham Lake Braves 4-H Club, which is part of the Nobles County 4-H Program. Most of the members in the club attend Fulda schools.
Information shared with the students by Leighton Gehl, Christian Goedtke, Matthias Kunerth include that lots of kids in 4-H work with animals and in agricultural issues, but in 4‑H there is so much more! They stated, “We believe in the power of young people. We see that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. We are America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. with the skills to lead for a lifetime.”
