Did you know that Fulda Schools have a Twitter account?  Fulda High School principal, Tyson Walker, recently shared his excitement about this account and the fact that it is telling stories from the two schools and connecting the schools, students and staff with the Fulda community.

The name of the account is @Fulda Raiders, and it currently has 105 followers. “We’ve met my goal of 100 followers by Minnesota Education Association weekend. We’ve met that and now we want to grow it more,” Principal Walker stated.

The schools’ Twitter account was started in August of this year and has highlighted events from the staff receiving First Aid training prior to the start of school, a second grade art project, the Trenton Bass fund raiser,  raising of the flag by a member of American Legion Post #318 at a football game, 5th grade activity stations for fitness, Twins’ Day at FHS, and much more.

“The Twitter account  covers great things from kindergarten to 12th grade – their learning activities and extra-curriculars – and upcoming events,” Principal Walker commented.

The Fulda High School and Fulda Elementary School Twitter account is managed by Principal Walker, Jonathon Curry, Colby Pack and Jenny Gerdes.

So, how can YOU sign up for Twitter? Mr. Walker has shared the following simple directions  for phones and devices from Twitter.com:
