Lumina, a professional women’s ensemble based in the Twin Cities, presented a special program of a cappella music for the students of Fulda Elementary School Wednesday morning. The program they shared was entitled Music Around the World.
Lumina came to Fulda Elementary School through the Minnesota Public Radio program Class Notes.
As their program was one filled with music education value, Lumina began their performance with a song style known as a round. A round means that the tune repeats and other musicians join in at different places to create amazing harmonies.
