Jim Reinert, Director of Murray County Veterans Service office was happy to talk about an opportunity for veterans to shop via internet for goods commonly found on sites such as Amazon. “Some people are really excited about it!” he said of the military exchanges open to online shopping. The idea for this came about three years ago and will become reality on November 11.
According to a website explaining the online shopping opportunity, “Defense Department officials notified the congressional oversight committees Jan. 11 of their intent to open up the military exchange online shopping benefit to all honorably discharged veterans.
