Students in kindergarten at Fulda Elementary School will probably long remember their Halloween celebration from that day. Not only were they able to wear their trick or treat costumes during some of their class time, they also were able to share with the residents at Maple Lawn Senior Care Center and go to Fulda High School where they were greeted with smiles, questions and candy by Superintendent Ann Wendorff, High School Principal Tyson Walker, and office staff Jenny Gerdes, Lisa Staples, and Lori Goedtke. They went on a walking tour of the high school so that the students could see their costumes, also. Many times they received treats for sharing their costumes.
Above: The kindergarten students were asked to tell the residents what character they had dressed up as. To the right: Not only did the students visit the nursing home, they also visited residents at Mapleview Estates and Maplewood Courts. In the photo with the three kindergarten students, teacher Tanya Erdmann had asked what they were going to do with all of the treats that were now in their bags.
Superintendent Ann Wendorff, along with the office staff at the high school were well-prepared with treats for the trick or treaters.
