The Fulda City Council voted to approve the property tax for this year, payable in 2018. The General Fund is $343,455.00
The Library Fund is $56,000.00 for a total of $399,445.00. That is a 3.3% increase of $12,749.00 over last year’s total of $386,690.00.
Resolution 2017-06 was passed as the final 2017 Tax Levy.
The approval was made for tobacco and tobacco related devices for Maynard’s Food Center, Casey’s General Store #1687 and Graff’s Liquor.
Neil Frodermann said there were four places that the city sanitary sewer was being infiltrated by storm water. The city will be fixing those on city property and the few that are on private property will be paid by the property owner.
