Fire claimed a large shed at the home of Ted and Patty Olson, Lime Creek, on Wednesday. Fulda Fire Department was called to the scene around 11 a.m. When they arrived, the shed was fully engulfed in flames.
According to Assistant Chief Ted Dierks, the building was a total loss. It stood just northwest of the house. Strong wind and stronger gusts caused some difficulties in fighting the fire.
Slayton Fire Department was called to provide mutual aid. The Murray County Sheriff’s Department was also at the fire.
Fulda fire fighters returned to the fire hall around 3 p.m.
