Brightly-lit floats rolled through Fulda streets on Saturday evening in keeping with the “A Hometown Christmas” theme.
This year’s parade was the fifth that Fulda Community Club has hosted. It featured sixteen units including the Fulda Police, Fulda Ambulance, Fulda Fire Department, First National Bank, Fulda Elementary School 2nd grade, Graham Lake Braves 4-H Club, St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, the Ramerth Family, Maple Lawn Senior Care Campus, First Presbyterian Church, Witzel Pronto Auto, Fulda American Legion, State Farm – Kim Holm, Slayton, Ironhorse Motorcycle Club, Fulda Area Credit Union and the 102’ ladder truck from Worthington Fire Department.
The Fulda Police Department led the parade and had decorated their vehicle with red and blue rope lights. Fulda Ambulance used white lights to decorate the ambulance. Lots of sparkling, multi-colored lights were added to one of the Fulda Fire Department trucks. It also had a star attached to its grill and the American Flag on its sides. Some of the emergency medical technicians and fire fighters walked the parade route.
