1934-Nyla Bullerman-2017
Nyla Josephine Bullerman was born October 25, 1934, in Ellsworth, Minnesota to Lester and Josephine (Rensch) Christensen. She attended country school near Kanaranzi and graduated from Magnolia High School in 1952. Nyla married Donald T. Bullerman on October 25, 1955, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellsworth, Minnesota. After their marriage, the couple farmed two miles north of Adrian. In 1982, they moved into Adrian, Minnesota. She was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church; and the WCCW. She enjoyed every minute of her time with Donnie farming until 1982, at Lake Shetek, Minnesota, wintering in Naples, Florida since 1992; reading and spending time with her children, grands and great-grands. Nyla died Friday, December 8, 2017, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 83.
Nyla is survived by her husband of sixty two years Don Bullerman, Adrian, MN; son Mark (Renae) Bullerman, Adrian, MN; two daughters: Terri (Doug) Petersen, Sioux Falls, SD; and Tammi (Randy) Heronimus, Adrian, MN; 11 grandchildren: Colt (Kait) Bullerman, Camron (Kendra) Bullerman, Chelsea (Tony) McKillip, Lacey (Wade) Harrington, McCall (Will) Lutmer, Huston (Kim) Heitkamp, Hailee (Kale) Wiertzema, Blake (Marie) Heronimus, Tannar (Katie) Heronimus, Kylie (Jason) Turner and Ryan (Sherry) Petersen; 21 great-grandchildren: Urijah, Rylan, Noah, Teryk, Cohen, Zoe, Beckham, Bentley, Sutton, Kai, BR, Brennen, Abe, Emry, Keagan, Paisley, Jacee, Coy, Talen, Rylan and Skyler; with baby Wiertzema, baby Heronimus and Baby Lutmer soon to come; a sister-in-law Becky Christensen, Luverne, MN; a brother-in-law Ron Johanning, Naples, FL; and her 11 nieces and nephews: Collette, Kim Jodi, Scott, Jed, Amy, Todd, Sue, Jackie, Jeanne and Jill. She was preceded in death by her parents Les and Jo; grandson Collin in 1996; sister Verla in 1984; brother Dwayne in 2015; a nephew Tim in 2017; and two grandchildren: Derek and Caitlyn in 1999.
Funeral Mass was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at St. Adrian Catholic Church, in Adrian, MN officiated by Monsignor Richard Colletti. Burial in the St. Adrian Cemetery.
