Fulda Elementary School Holiday Food Drive surpasses goal

Wow! A total of 2,107.3 pounds of non-perishable food was brought to school by students in grades K-6. Wow!

It’s that time of year when gifts are given to family members, friends and even co-workers. But the students at the Fulda Elementary School have their own way to give from the heart! And to people they don’t even know, with their 5th Annual Food Drive for the Fulda Food Shelf.

And to add a bit of fun, they make it a competition between grades K – 6.  The students bring food items in to their class room. At the end of the designated time period the pounds are added up and a winner declared.
