New warning signs for motorists will appear on Minnesota highways beginning January 1st. On the rear of slow moving vehicles, moving 25 miles or less, will be an inverted triangle in blaze orange outlined by revolutionized red to be visible at night. Operators of tractors, construction equipment and other slow moving vehicles will be required to post the SMV emblem.
The Fulda basketball team is rapidly improving from game to game. On Friday evening the Raiders defeated Walnut Grove with a score of 75-62 led by Mike Fury with 34 points on the night.
Marine Sgt. and Mrs. Larry Jorgensen are the parents of a girl, Tami born December 13th. Grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Jorgensen and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hakeneis.

Louis Peterson, 84 passed away Tuesday.
Michael Lanoue passed away on December 17th at the age of 16 years old.
John Brinkman, 81 passed away on November 18th.
Arthur James Iverson passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, December 17th at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 8 days old.

Many Fulda residents took the time to donate blood on December 16th – A true gift from the heart. Keith Johnson, former Fulda resident, traveled from St. Paul with the Red Cross crew to assist in taking blood from the Fulda community donors.

Penny wars were held at the Fulda High School sponsored by the Fulda FLA/FHA Chapter – final tally raised $592.00 with the freshmen class finishing on top. Penny War donations were used to purchase toys for children in the Murray County Christmas project.
FLA/FHA held a food drive within the school instead of going door-to-door. Students and staff brought in food items which were put into baskets and presented as Christmas gifts to local families.
Public hearing held on the St. Paul Avenue reconstruction project which could cost up to $839,000. The project runs from Front Street to 7th Street.
