Winter Olympics held at Fulda High School

The 2018 Olympic Winter Games will begin on February 9th in Pyeongchang with athletes from all over the world participating in sporting events such as alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, cross country skiing, curling, figure skating, freestyle skiing, ice hockey, luge, Nordic combined, short track speed skating, skeleton, ski jumping, snowboarding, and speed skating.  An estimated 2,952 athletes will represent 92 nations in a bid for the gold.

Students at the Fulda High School are enjoying their own version of the Winter Olympics with a variety of fun activities scheduled for this week.

Dress up days have been planned;

Monday began with favorite Hat Day

Tuesday – Funky Sunglasses Day

Wednesday – Headband Day

Thursday – Funky Sock Day

Friday – Class Color Day

In addition, there will be competitions of ‘lightning’ played in the gym during lunches on Tuesday and a Rock-Paper-Scissor Tournament held on Friday!
