A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
February 27, 2018, 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Kluis, Gunnink, Jens, and Thiner. Also present Aurora Heard and Travis Smith. Excused Absence: Commissioner Magnus
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 1 with corrections.
MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches No. 22 and 68 totaling $2,267.90.
MSP to approve a subordination agreement with Gary Ness, for property at 152 131st Street for a Murray County Septic Program Loan.
MSP to approve to schedule a closed session for labor negotiations at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday March 6, 2018.
MSP to approve scheduling a closed session to consider the purchase of parcel #20-016-0050 or 20-023-0040 or 20-016-0071 for 10:45 a.m. on March 6, 2018.
MSP to approve scheduling the Board of Equalization on June 19, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.
MSP to approve the University of Minnesota Extension begin the process to backfill the University of Minnesota Murray County 4-H Program Coordinator position for Murray County.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of February 11, 2018 to February 24, 2018.
MSP to approve submitting a grant to the Schmidt Foundation to fund labor to scrape, sand, and paint the Historic Round Barn on the Fairgrounds.
Open Forum/Public Comment – No members of the public were present.
MSP to approve the County pay $7,000 per year, for two years, for the dog kennel/pound agreement with Four Paws Grooming, LLC, contingent upon the City of Fulda and City of Slayton agreeing to pay any costs above the $7,000 per year that each entity incurs.
MSP to approve and authorize the Chairman, Auditor/Treasurer, and County Coordinator sign the Utility Easement from the City of Currie, Minnesota, for the Shetek Area Water and Sewer District wastewater infrastructure over, under, through and across Currie’s pond property.
