This past week the Fulda squads played some good baseball, as the Little Mites continued their undefeated season. The Big Mites and Midgets also played solid, but came up on the short esummer recnd of some close games.

Little Mites

The Little Mites played their first game of the week against a young Brewster squad.

The boys came ready to hit as 3 of the first 6 hitters either got a base hit or walked. In that first the team scored five runs as Brenton Erdmann, Sam Goedtke, Keegan Spittle, Jared Fischer and Jackson Kramer all scored. The Raiders scored one in the 2nd as Mason Timmerman scored and then scored 5 again in the 3rd with Dalton Dierks, Caleb Appel, Dominic Lee, Brenton and Sam all crossed home plate.

Big Mites

The Big Mites had some tough competition but played well in a pair of one run losses.

In the first game against Brewster Fulda had a tough 2-3 loss. Brewster scored all 3 runs in the first inning while Fulda scored both of their runs in the 4th. They couldn’t quite get the crucial third run across however and fell to 3-2-1 on the season.

Midgets

The Midgets had a busy week with 3 games this week, two against Edgerton and one against Heron Lake.

The Raiders couldn’t figure out the Edgerton squad, but tied a very good Heron Lake team as a storm moved in to stop the game tied at 5’s.
