Continental Co-ets to be inducted into South Dakota Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Fulda’s Continental Co-ets, an all-girl rock and roll band formed in 1963,  will be inducted into the South Dakota Rock and Roll  Music Association’s  (SDRRMA) Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 14th, at the Ramkota Inn, Sioux Falls, SD.  The SDRRMA recognizes the men and women who have contributed to and had a significant impact on rock and roll music in South Dakota.

The Continental Co-ets will be performing during the induction ceremony. Vicki Ommen, drummer for the band, said that there currently is a drum set sitting in the middle of her living room and she has been practicing every day since January for the event.

Other band members who will be present that evening are Carolyn Behr Brown,  Oswegeo, New York, Nancy Hofmann Rindflesch, Austin, MN,  and MaryJo Hofmann Tucker, Minneapolis, MN. Carol Goins, who lives in California, is unable to attend.
