The Murray County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Thursday, April 19, 2018, commencing at 7:30 pm in the County Commissioner’s Meeting Room, Murray County Government Center, Slayton, MN, to take public comment and act on the following requests in the order listed below:
1. Applicant: Chris and Paula Thomas
Property Location: NE1/4, Section 32, Lowville Township, Murray County
Application: Construct and operate a 120 kW Wind Turbine in the Agriculture District.
2. Applicant: Anthony Clausen
Property Location: SE1/4 SW1/4, Section 2, Belfast Township, Murray County
Application: To expand an existing feedlot by constructing a total confinement swine barn with concrete manure storage pit in the Agriculture District.
3. Applicant: Kraig & Brenda Boese
Property Location: NW1/4 NE1/4, Section 21, Slayton Township, Murray County
Application: To open and operate a home occupation for graphics, printing, signs, sales and installation of vehicle accessories, bus rentals, and up to five vehicle sales per year in the Rural Residential District.
