Fulda High School band and choir teacher, Matt Saxman, issued the following statement this week following Solo and Ensembles Contest which was held on Monday. He said, “I was again very proud of how all of the student musicians did this year, especially some of our soloists and small groups. They are all so very talented, and I’m happy they have been rewarded with successful scores from the judges, and helpful feedback as well.”
Fifty singers and 44 instrument players in grades 7 – 12 from Fulda High School performed during Solo and Ensembles Contest. (The event was held in Fulda this year.) Sixteen events were entered and all 16 won awards.
Overall, 119 awards were earned with 45 superior ratings and 74 excellent ratings.
