A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
April 24, 2018, 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Kluis, Gunnink, Jens, Magnus and Thiner. Also present Aurora Heard and Travis Smith.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 1 as corrected.
MSP to approve ditch contractor bill for Judicial Ditch No. 3 totaling $3,542.50.
MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches No. 11, 22(2), 29 totaling $8,109.10.
MSP to set the Final Acceptance Hearing for the Judicial Ditch No. 8 Improvement for May 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
MSP to approve ditch inspection report for County Ditch No. 65.
Open Forum – No members of the public were present.
MSP to approve the following seasonal positions: Dennis Lickness – Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker with a start date of April 30, 2018; Tyler Groves – Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker with a start date of May 24, 2018; Cole Ahlers – Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker with a start date of May 31, 2018; Cameron Boerboom – Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker with a start of June 4, 2018; Anita Gaul – Museum Curator with a start date of May 8, 2018.
MSP to approve Cathy Magnus transferring to the Museums Department to assist due to a staffing shortage with the resignation of the Museums Site Coordinator.
MSP to approve the Stoneary wind project agreements and bond and authorize the Board Chair, County Attorney, and Auditor/Treasurer, County Engineer sign the agreements.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of April 8, 2018 to April 21, 2018.
MSP to approve going into closed session pursuant to Minnesota Statute 13 D.03 labor negotiations strategy.
MSP to approve coming out of closed session.
