HLOF girls second at WWG, third at Adrian

Freking takes second individually for HLOF girls at WWG

The girls golf team traveled to Westbrook-Walnut Grove for their 18 hole invitational meet. The girls also finished in second place on the day, shooting 418 on the day. Murray County Central, with three of the top five individual golfers, won the meet with a low score of 389.

Taking medalist honors at the meet was Abby Hamman, MCC, with a 88, on the par 76 18-hole course. Sam Freking, HLOF, was the second place golfer with a 92 on the day.

MCC golfer Amber Boock (93) was in third place, and tied for fourth with 98s were Paige Behrends, MCC, and Hannah Fick, HBC.

Freking led the Coyotes, and was followed by Lexy Ruesch, who carded a 99 on the course. Elly Bang (110) and Maddy Koep (117) completed the scoring for the Coyote team.

Following MCC and HLOF in the team standings were Westbrook-Walnut Grove with 450, Adrian at 464, Southwest Christian with 479, Red Rock Central finished at 481 and Hills-Beaver Creek was incomplete.
