“Go Grey in May” for Brain Tumor Awareness

Aiden Remme, the four-year-old son of Chris and Tracy Remme of Brewster, has been involved in the beginning of a year of weekly chemotherapy treatments for a brain tumor which was diagnosed in late February.

This Sunday, May 15, there will be a benefit to aid the Remme family with expenses. A pork sandwich lunch and silent auction will be held at the Brewster American Legion Hall, beginning at 11:00 a.m. The event will wrap up about 2:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the free will donation lunch and silent auction will go towards medical and travel expenses, and loss of work time to ensure that Aiden receives the best treatment possible in his battle against brain cancer. Aiden was diagnosed with a cancerous Glioma Brain Tumor on February 23, 2016.

The benefit is sponsored by Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Brewster, Nobles County Thrivent and Catholic United Financial.
