2017-2018 FFA President Leighton Gehl welcomed members and guests to the annual Fulda FFA Chapter Banquet on Monday evening, held at Fulda High School.

Logan Clarke presented the FFA Creed. He had earned 2nd place in Creed Speaking at the 2017-2018 Region VI competition.

Proficiency Awards were awarded to Leighton Gehl for Ag Mechanics Placement, Christian Goedtke in Beef Production and Camryn Baumhoefner in Beef Production – Placement. The Agricultural Proficiency Awards Program rewards FFA members at the local, regional, state and national levels for exceptional accomplishments and experience in a Supervised Agricultural Experience Program. There are two types of proficiency award applications. The placement type is for work or experiences – only (paid or unpaid) SAE programs. the other proficiency award application is called entrepreneurship and is for SAE programs that involve ownership of an agricultural production or an agribusiness enterprise. SAE programs are planned, practical activities conducted outside of class time that help develop and apply agricultural knowledge and skilled learned inside the classroom. The quality of a student’s SAE forms the basis of a recognized proficiency award.

Cory Renneke was awarded Top Chapter Sales from the Holiday Sale campaign.
